Create a child organization
Add a child organization to start monitoring a brand's AI narrative presence.
Each child organization in Suede represents a single brand or client you want to monitor. Child orgs hold their own subscription, usage limits, and team members. Every child org starts on the Free plan.
Before you begin
- You need a parent organization. If you signed up but haven't created one yet, the onboarding flow guides you through it.
- You need the admin or owner role on the parent org.
Create the child org
Open the child org form
From the sidebar, open the org switcher and select Create Organization. Choose the parent org that will own this child org.
Fill in org details
- Name - The display name for this organization (e.g., "Acme Corp").
- Slug - A URL-safe identifier, auto-derived from the name. This becomes part of your dashboard URL.
- Domain (optional) - The brand's primary domain (e.g.,
acme.com). Used for web enrichment during the onboarding pipeline.
Select an industry vertical
Choose the vertical that best matches the brand. Suede uses this to generate industry-specific monitoring prompts. Options include General, Public Affairs, Consumer Brand, Healthcare, Admissions, and dozens of specialized verticals.
If none fit, select General. You can refine your monitoring prompts later.
Submit
Click Create. Suede provisions the child org on the Free plan and starts the onboarding pipeline. The pipeline generates an org description, topics, personas, and monitoring prompts based on the vertical and domain you provided.
What happens next
The onboarding pipeline runs in the background. It typically completes within a few minutes. Once finished, your dashboard populates with the first round of monitoring data within 24 hours.
Parent org members are automatically added to the child org with their existing roles. You can manage members separately in each child org's settings.
Free plan child orgs are limited to 10 monitored prompts, 1 AI platform, and 1 seat. See Plans for tier details.
