Create a workspace
Add a monitoring workspace to start tracking a brand's AI narrative presence.
Each monitoring workspace in Suede represents a single brand or client you want to monitor. Workspaces hold their own subscription, usage limits, and team members. Every workspace starts on the Free plan.
Before you begin
- You need an organization. If you signed up but haven't created one yet, the onboarding flow guides you through it.
- You need the admin or owner role on the organization. See Roles for a full description of what each role can do.
Create the workspace
Open the workspace form
From the sidebar, open the workspace switcher and select New workspace. Choose the organization that will own this workspace.
Fill in workspace details
- Name - The display name for this workspace (e.g., "Acme Corp").
- Slug - A URL-safe identifier, auto-derived from the name. This becomes part of your dashboard URL.
- Domain (optional) - The brand's primary domain (e.g.,
acme.com). Used for web enrichment during the onboarding pipeline.
Select an industry vertical
Choose the vertical that best matches the brand. Suede uses this to generate industry-specific monitoring prompts. Options include General, Public Affairs, Consumer Brand, Healthcare, Admissions, and dozens of specialized verticals.
If none fit, select General. You can refine your monitoring prompts later.
Submit
Click Create. Suede provisions the workspace on the Free plan and starts the onboarding pipeline. The pipeline generates a workspace description, topics, personas, and monitoring prompts based on the vertical and domain you provided.
What happens next
The onboarding pipeline runs in the background. It typically completes within a few minutes. Once finished, your dashboard populates with the first round of monitoring data within 24 hours.
Organization members are automatically added to the workspace with their existing roles. You can manage members separately in each workspace's settings.
Free plan workspaces are limited to 10 monitored prompts, 1 AI platform, and 1 seat. See Plans for tier details.
