Invite members

Add people to your organization, assign a role, and manage outstanding invitations.

Owners and Admins can invite anyone to join an organization. Invitations are sent by email. When the recipient accepts, they are added to the organization and all its workspaces with the role you chose.

Seat limits

Each plan includes a fixed number of seats per workspace:

Both active members and outstanding invitations count toward this limit. If your organization is at capacity, you must cancel a pending invitation or remove a member before you can invite someone new.

Invite someone

Open the Members settings

Navigate to your organization's Settings > Members page.

Send the invitation

Click Invite member, enter the person's email address, and select a role. For a description of each role, see Roles.

Click Send invitation.

The recipient accepts

The invitee receives an email with a link to accept the invitation. Once they accept, they appear in your members list and are added to all workspaces under the organization.

Invitation expiry

Invitations expire after 7 days if not accepted. An expired invitation no longer holds a seat and cannot be accepted — the recipient will need a new invitation. You can see the expiry date for each pending invitation in the invitations table.

Cancel an invitation

You can cancel a pending invitation at any time from the Settings > Members page. Cancelling frees the seat immediately, so you can invite someone else in its place. Only Owners and Admins can cancel invitations.

Change a member's role

From the members list, click the role badge next to any member to open the role picker. Select a new role and confirm. The change takes effect immediately.

Changing a member to Viewer removes their ability to edit monitoring data and hides billing and usage pages for them. Changing a Viewer to Member restores those capabilities. No data is lost either way.

Remove a member

To remove a member, open the actions menu on their row in the members list and select Remove. Removing a member frees their seat. The organization must always retain at least one Owner — the last Owner cannot be removed.
