Connect AI assistants to Suede
Use the Suede MCP server to query and edit your AI-visibility data directly from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Copilot Studio, and other AI assistants.
Suede publishes an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. Connecting an AI assistant to it lets you work with your Suede data in plain conversation — ask how your brand is showing up across AI platforms, pull citations and competitors, or add topics, personas, and prompts — without opening the dashboard.
It works with any MCP-capable assistant. Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor connect in a few clicks by signing in to Suede. Microsoft Copilot Studio and other automated clients connect with a generated client ID and secret.
Server URL
This is the only address you need. Paste it into your assistant's connector setup.
https://mcp.suedewebsystems.ai/mcp/v1You need a Suede account with access to at least one workspace. The assistant connects as you — it can see and change exactly what your role allows, and nothing from workspaces you aren't a member of.
Two ways to connect
| Method | Best for | Who can set it up |
|---|---|---|
| Sign in with your AI assistant | Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and most interactive assistants | Any member |
| Static credentials (client ID + secret) | Microsoft Copilot Studio and headless or automated clients that can't sign in interactively | Owners and Admins |
The first method uses a standard OAuth sign-in: you paste the URL, approve access in your browser, and you're done. The second issues a long-lived client ID and secret you paste into clients that run without a person present. See Connect an AI assistant and Static credentials.
Supported assistants
| Assistant | Method | Setup |
|---|---|---|
| Claude (claude.ai) | Sign in | Connect an AI assistant |
| ChatGPT | Sign in | Connect an AI assistant |
| Cursor | Sign in | Connect an AI assistant |
| Microsoft Copilot Studio | Static credentials | Static credentials |
| Any other MCP client | Sign in or static credentials | Depends on the client |
What you can do
Your role decides whether a connection is read-only or can also make changes:
- Read your monitoring data — AI visibility, citations, competitors, topics, personas, and prompts. Available to every role, including Viewer.
- Edit monitoring data — add and update topics, personas, prompts, owned domains, and competitors. Available to Owners, Admins, and Members.
- Create workspaces and pitch spaces — Owners and Admins only.
See Roles for the full breakdown, and Tools and permissions reference for how this maps to MCP scopes and tools.
MCP calls count toward your workspace's usage. The Free plan includes 100 read-only calls per month; paid plans meter calls as you use them. See Plans.
